About Tenacity Business Coaching
Our business coach and founder, Lance, comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the world of small business, but his interest in the mechanics of business started much earlier. As a teenager, Lance was determined to run his own businesses but left people baffled when he said it wasn’t important what those businesses did. Becoming a business coach was a natural move for Lance: it’s the business of doing business.
That’s what Lance loves about coaching other businesses. No two businesses are the same. Every business has its own model and key drivers. Seeing any businesses grow is rewarding
but it’s even more rewarding to have a hand in driving that growth and contributing to the local business landscape.
With this in mind a business degree seemed to be the obvious path. Lance earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Management) at the University of New England, although he’ll likely be the first to tell you he learned more working in a shed in the industrial estate. From there he spent two years teaching English in France, honing his presentation and delivery
skills before returning to Australia to settle on the Central Coast.
When not helping other businesses succeed, Lance enjoys everything the Central Coast has to offer. He also serves as Treasurer for the Woy Woy Rugby Club. Other than enjoying giving back to the community at the Rugby Club, here Lance realised that community organisations and non-profits face the same challenges as small businesses, they just have different outcomes.

Degree Certified
Lance holds a degree in Commerce (Management and Marketing) from the University of New England. These are key areas of operating a business and give him a solid foundation.
Training Certified
Lance holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This ensures he understands how to work well with clients and teach them how to succeed in their areas of business.
15 Years of Experience
With 15 years of experience in business across a variety of industries, Lance has seen it all. While no two businesses or challenges are the same, drawing on past experience is important for success.
Business Analysis
As a business owner himself, Lance understands what it takes to manage a business. He also brings his experience and knowledge from other fields to be able to look at a business wholistically.
Software Knowledge
Lance has received training in MYOB and has experience across a number of software tools designed to help small and medium sized businesses. He can use your tools or recommend others.
B2B Acumen
Lance started his journey in operations, meaning he has a deep understanding of logistics, finance, purchasing, and sales. His further experience in marketing ensures he’s across all aspects of a business.
